Minnesota State Parks~

Minnesota is home to more than parks & recreation areas, and has active visitors all year long!  There are SO many great parks, you have to get out to see for yourself!  Click HERE to head to their website!

Downtown St. Paul, has a unique feel to itself; it offers the small town quaintness you’ll find in rural areas of Minnesota, along with the hustle & bustle of downtown city life.  Getting around is easy year round, with the enclosed skyway system keeping you warm & safe from our winter winds.

A big thanks to Visit Saint Paul for allowing me to share these great maps with you!  They have a super extensive website of information you should check out if you are considering a move to St. Paul!

Downtown Minneapolis, the larger of the two sister cities, has it’s own enclosed skyway system for access to shopping, restaurants and many businesses.  The past couple of years we’ve seen the light rail help connect the city and there are always taxi-cabs at the ready to get you where you need to go.  Be sure to visit Meet Minneapolis for SO much more info that great city!

So I mentioned earlier that one of my favorite things about our area is the Food!  Yep, the food scene in Minnesota is amazing!  Below, in no particular order, are a few of my favorite places to find out more about the places you must put on your foodie bucket list!

Minnesota Monthly’s hosts food critics Joy Summers & Jason DeRusha in it’s food section and is a fun & entertaining place to get the pulse of what’s happening in the food scene!

Mpls.St.Paul Magazine has a few great features for the foodie in you…such as the Foodie File or The Feed. You can always count on Stephanie March & Dara Moskowitz Grumdahl for the latest!

And speaking of Dara…tune your radio to WCCO AM 830 on Saturday mornings, from 11am-Noon to catch Off The Menu

Or you can visit The Weekly Dish, on FM MyTalk 107.1 with hosts Stephanie Hansen and Stephanie March where you can catch up on all the weeks latest food news & more! Show is live on Saturday mornings from 9-11:00am but is also recorded so you can listen to past shows anytime!
